Sorsend Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Sortask GmbH is the operator of the Website. Company details are also published in the Imprint. These terms apply to the marketing website. They do not by themselves form a paid software subscription or a construction-project services contract. Access to the Sorsend product, including Early Access, is handled separately when we invite a team or you request a demo.

2. Language versions and location

The Website is available in English and German. On a first visit, if you have not already chosen a language, we infer your country from the IP address of your request using a local country database on our infrastructure. We do not send that IP address to an external geolocation provider for this purpose.

Visitors whose inferred country is Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or Liechtenstein (the DACH region) are shown the German version. Visitors from all other countries are shown English. You can change the language at any time with the language control. We may store the active language in a strictly necessary cookie named sorsend_locale so we do not repeat this inference on later visits.

An explicit German URL such as /de remains German so that shared links stay stable. Search crawlers are not redirected based on location. Details of this processing, including the GDPR legal basis and your right to object, are set out in the Privacy Policy.

3. Using the Website

You may browse the Website, request a demo or Early Access through the contact form, and read our legal notices. You must not misuse the Website, attempt to disrupt it, submit unlawful or misleading information, or use automated means to overload or scrape it in a way that impairs other visitors or our systems.

4. Contact and demo requests

If you submit a contact or demo request, you must provide accurate details and have authority to share them. We use that information to respond to you as described in the Privacy Policy. Submitting a request does not create an obligation for us to offer access, a contract, or a particular commercial term.

5. Content and intellectual property

The Website, including text, graphics, logos, product demonstrations, and layout, is owned by Sortask GmbH or its licensors. You may view it for information about Sorsend. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute substantial parts of the Website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent, except where mandatory law allows it.

6. Availability and accuracy

The Website is provided for general information. Product descriptions, screenshots, and demonstrations may change as Sorsend develops. We do not warrant that the Website is uninterrupted, error-free, or that information is complete or current. Marketing copy is not a binding offer.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and where the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) applies. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, and then only for typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability is excluded to the extent permitted by Austrian law. This does not affect your mandatory consumer rights.

8. Privacy

How we collect and use personal data, including IP addresses used to choose the Website language, is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Those notices form part of how we operate the Website together with these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms of Use when the Website, our processing, or the law changes. The current version is published on this page with the date above. Continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, except where mandatory law requires a different process.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. The courts of Graz, Austria, have jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.
